The Selected Writings of Beryl E. Arbuckle
Beryl E. Arbuckle, DO, FAAO
264 pp., Hardcover
From the Introduction: The cranial concept in osteopathic medicine has brought about a number of thought-provoking controversies in the osteopathic profession. Originally presented by William G. Sutherland, DO, the concept slowly grew and added an increasing number of supporters and advocates. One of the earliest in the profession to investigate and clinically test Dr. Sutherland's hypotheses was Beryl E. Arbuckle, DO. Dr. Arbuckle began as a skeptic but she was open-minded and willing to learn. When she became convinced of its value, she became one of its most vocal proponents. It is a privilege to have the opportunity to introduce this book which has been written by such a distinguished American physician. (George W. Northup, DO)
