Robert P. Yezierski, PhD, has been a member of The Miami Project to Cure Paralysis since 1988, where his research has focused on injury-induced pain mechanisms and the pathophysiology of spinal cord injury.

Kim J. Burchiel, MD, FACS, is John Raaf Professor and Chairman of the Department of Neurological Surgery at Oregon Health Sciences University. He has directed the Department of Neurological Surgery at OHSU since 1988 and specializes in neruosurgery and pain management.
